MODULE 07

Effect count describes the evaporation arrangement, while TVR and MVR describe vapour recompression. They can be evaluated together. The circulation pump remains an additional electrical load regardless of the heat-recovery choice.

Maintenance access

Assign access and service responsibility for compressors, ejectors and associated instruments. Include start-up and off-design operation in the review. Assess downtime on the actual production schedule.

Selection limit

No fixed energy-saving percentage is inferred from “forced circulation”, multiple effects or recompression. Compare measured or guaranteed quantities within a common boundary.
