Concentrate discharge package for forced-circulation evaporation
Control the product leaving the loop. Define its duty within the complete food-concentration circuit.
MODULE 05
Withdrawal and fresh feed must remain consistent with the water-removal duty and circulating inventory. The discharge equipment is selected for final concentrate properties, which may differ substantially from feed properties.
Enquire about this moduleInput, output and connection boundary
| Input | Output | Interfaces |
|---|---|---|
| Concentrated liquid withdrawn from the circulating inventory | Product flow to the next processing or storage step | Vessel level or concentration control, withdrawal point, discharge pump, downstream backpressure |
Specification inputs
| Parameter | Condition to state |
|---|---|
| Discharge flow | kg/h on the agreed solids basis; convert to volume only with density. |
| Final product condition | Concentration, temperature, rheology, solids and shear constraints. |
| Downstream service | Required pressure, line length, receiving level and allowed cooling. |
| Control strategy | Relationship between feed, evaporation, concentration and vessel level. |
Maintenance access
Provide hygienic isolation and access to seals and valves. Check drainability and the ability to clear a concentrated product after interruption. Include restart conditions in the process specification.
Selection limit
Stable level does not by itself prove the target concentration is achieved. Measurement uncertainty and product sampling remain part of acceptance.
