MODULE 05

Withdrawal and fresh feed must remain consistent with the water-removal duty and circulating inventory. The discharge equipment is selected for final concentrate properties, which may differ substantially from feed properties.

Specification inputs

ParameterCondition to state
Discharge flowkg/h on the agreed solids basis; convert to volume only with density.
Final product conditionConcentration, temperature, rheology, solids and shear constraints.
Downstream serviceRequired pressure, line length, receiving level and allowed cooling.
Control strategyRelationship between feed, evaporation, concentration and vessel level.

Maintenance access

Provide hygienic isolation and access to seals and valves. Check drainability and the ability to clear a concentrated product after interruption. Include restart conditions in the process specification.

Selection limit

Stable level does not by itself prove the target concentration is achieved. Measurement uncertainty and product sampling remain part of acceptance.
