MODULE 08

A useful control philosophy connects each process risk to a measurement and response. Loss of circulation, feed interruption or a changing vacuum needs a defined action. The cleaning boundary must include the pump and every product-contact part of the loop.

Maintenance access

Calibrate instruments and verify interlocks as part of the maintenance programme. Validate cleaning for the actual food soil and materials; record access points that need inspection or manual work.

Selection limit

A recorded CIP cycle is not proof of hygienic acceptance. Chemistry, time, temperature and flow must be established and verified for the actual circuit.
