Vacuum & condensation system for forced-circulation evaporation
Support the operating pressure. Define its duty within the complete food-concentration circuit.
MODULE 06
The vacuum system works with the condenser and air-leakage boundary. It supports the pressure chosen for product temperature and heat transfer; it does not independently set product quality.

| Input | Output | Interfaces |
|---|---|---|
| Residual vapour, non-condensables and available cooling utility | Condensed water and extracted gases at the required pressure | Vapour piping, cooling supply/return, condensate handling and vacuum equipment |
Specification inputs
| Parameter | Condition to state |
|---|---|
| Design pressure | Absolute pressure at a named measurement point. |
| Cooling condition | Supply temperature and flow at the site’s warmest operating case. |
| Gas load | Start-up evacuation, steady non-condensables and leakage allowance. |
| Condensate quality | Treatment or disposal boundary; do not assume suitability for reuse. |
Maintenance access
Plan inspection of leaks, seals, fouling and cooling flow. Compare pressure excursions with condenser temperatures and production load. Provide safe venting and isolation during maintenance.
Selection limit
A pump catalogue vacuum rating is not a guarantee of system pressure with the actual vapour and cooling duty.
