MVR forced circulation evaporator system
Review mechanical vapour recompression alongside circulation power, product boiling behaviour, electrical service and start-up heating requirements.
Recompression changes the heating supply
Mechanical vapour recompression raises the useful heating condition of process vapour so it can be reused. It does not replace the circulation pump or remove the need to select the heater and separator against the product. Request the vapour and liquid circuits together.
Compare the complete electrical load
A meaningful comparison includes the recompressor, circulation pump, vacuum system and auxiliaries. Confirm the duty point and operating range rather than comparing a compressor power figure with another system's total utilities. Include start-up heating and condensate handling in the proposed scope.
Check the vapour basis
State the operating pressure, boiling-point elevation and expected vapour composition. Entrainment control and the required temperature lift affect the proposed heating arrangement. Product trials and a verified balance should support any performance guarantee.
